Resumen de Extractivismo forestal y pesquero, el avance de las fronteras y la colonización: una aproximación bibliométrica

El extractivismo es uno de los conceptos más importantes a estudiar en geografía humana, no solo por los impactos medioambientales que provoca o sus distintas tipologías existentes, sino también por el desplazamiento de trabajadores y la formación de asentamientos humanos que puede originar. Si bien, todos estos procesos están vinculados al avance de distintos tipos de frontera y colonización, surgen una serie de dudas al estudiar los conceptos que forman parte de ellos, las temáticas que abordan y el contexto en el que se desarrollan, especialmente cuando hablamos de América Latina y Chile. A partir de esta premisa surge esta investigación bibliométrica, cuyo objetivo es realizar una búsqueda y selección de artículos vinculados al concepto de extractivismo, en conjunto con algunos tópicossubyacentes: colonización, pesca, bosque y frontera. Utilizando la base de datos WOS y los programas Biblioshiny, Bibliometrix y Vosviewer, se pretende dar una mirada a sus producciones científicas y una clasificación del material para su utilización en una futura investigación.

Extractivismis one of the most important concepts to study in human geography, not only because of the environmental impacts it causes or its different existing typologies but also because of the displacement of workers and the formation of human settlements that it can cause. Although all these processes are linked to the advance of different types of borders and colonization, a series of doubts arise when studying the concepts that are part of them, the issues they address and the context in which they are developed, especially when we talk about Latin America and Chile. From this premise arises this bibliometric research, whose objective is to carry out a search and selection of articles linked to the concept of extractivism, together with some underlying topics: colonization, fishing, forest and border. Using the WOS database and the Biblioshiny, Bibliometrix and Vosviewer programs, it is intended to take a look at their scientific productions and classify the material for use in future research.
