Dentro de las actividades realizadas por las instituciones educativas es de suma importancia el conocer “cómo aprenden los estudiantes” y cuáles son los canales de aprendizaje que, de acuerdo a sus preferencias sensoriales les permiten la adquisición de conocimientos de una manera plena y significativa. En éste artículo se presenta el diagnóstico realizado por medio de la aplicación del cuestionario VARK a 115 estudiantes de tres paralelos de Quinto Grado de la Escuela de Educación Básica 18 de Octubre, y de cómo por medio de la aplicación de instrumentos de recolección de datos, se obtendrán los resultados que permitirán realizar la interpretación y análisis de la situación actual de los estudiantes y docentes asistiendo con información importante para la elaboración de estrategias de enseñanza de acuerdo a los diferentes estilos de aprendizaje que presentan de manera individual y colectiva.
Within the activities carried out by educational institutions, it is extremely important to know "how students learn" and what are the learning channels that, according to their sensory preferences, allow them to acquire knowledge in a full and meaningful way. This article presents the diagnosis made through the application of the VARK questionnaire to 115 students of three parallels of Fifth Grade of the School of Basic Education October 18, and how through the application of data collection instruments, The results will be obtained that will allow the interpretation and analysis of the current situation of the students and teachers, assisting with important information for the elaboration of teaching strategies according to the different learning styles that they present individually and collectively.
