    This article discusses the relationship between the emergence of rock and roll formation of a global youth culture of character, especially in the midst of this process in Brazil gives 60 and 70. Observe that after the birth of this pattern, the so-called youth culture has privileged space in Western societies and the cultural industry that took hold of him to respond to their concerns capitalist translated by the formation of a market of young consumers. But nevertheless, it can be noted that this rate is not emptied of meaning and which brought with it significant changes in ways of being and seeing the world of social subjects juveniles who have become disciples. In Brazil he was full of meanings processors, which culminate in increased visibility in the 1980s. The text is that this article is part of the writing of the master's dissertation "80 Years of Rock: The Construction of New Alternatives for Social and Policy Challenge for the Youth of the Decade."     Este artigo discute a relação entre o surgimento do rock’n roll e a formação de uma cultura jovem de caráter mundial, destacando-se no bojo deste processo o Brasil dos anos 60 e 70. Observa-se que após o nascimento deste ritmo, a chamada cultura jovem ganhou espaço privilegiado nas sociedades ocidentais e na indústria cultural que se apoderou dele para responder aos seus anseios capitalistas traduzidos pela formação de um mercado de jovens consumidores. Mas, apesar disso, pode-se notar também que este ritmo não se esvaziou de sentidos e que trouxe consigo transformações significativas nos modos de ser e de ver o mundo dos sujeitos sociais juvenis que dele se tornaram discípulos. No Brasil ele também veio repleto de significados transformadores, o que culminaria numa maior visibilidade nos anos 1980. O texto que constitui este artigo é parte integrante da escrita da dissertação de mestrado “Rock dos Anos 80: A Construção de Novas Alternativas de Contestação Social e Política pela Juventude da Década”. O trecho apresentado aqui se refere ao seu primeiro capítulo.
