    It talks about the conflicts among the different groups inside de Labors Party, revealing distinct visions on the best strategy to reach the power and build the socialist vein of the party. It evidences the consequences of these disagreements on the administrative experience of the Labor Party in the government of Espírito Santo state within 1995 and 1998. It shows two decisive factors, among others, to the crisis and the the breaking up between LP and former governor Vítor Buaiz.: the internal fight between the tendencies for the hegemony and, with this first issue, the critics of the policies, adopted by Vítor Buaiz, considered neoliberal.

    Aborda os conflitos entre grupos diferentes no interior do Partido dos Trabalhadores, revelando visões distintas sobre a melhor estratégia para o partido chegar ao poder e construir o socialismo petista. Evidencia as conseqüências destes atritos na experiência administrativa do PT no governo do Espírito Santo entre 1995 e 1998. Destaca dois fatores determinantes, dentre outros, para a crise e o rompimento entre o PT e o governador Vítor Buaiz: a luta interna entre as tendências pela hegemonia e, atrelada a esta primeira questão, as críticas às políticas, adotadas por Vítor Buaiz, consideradas neoliberais.
