  Durante el nuevo siglo el motivo literario de la enfermedad ha evolucionado de manera considerable, particularmente en la creación poética. La modificación del discurso lírico y de las dinámicas que lo sustentan ha canalizado la potencia de sus símbolos y alcanzado nuevas cotas expresivas. Por ello, el objetivo de este estudio es doble: ofrecer un panorama de la enfermedad física vinculada al dolor en la poesía española actual (2001-2020) y analizar el fenómeno de su novedad en estos veinte años. Como conclusión, el análisis ofrece varios resultados clave en la recepción, comprensión y desarrollo de dicho tópico en el discurso poético español.

  The literary motif of disease has undergone a considerable evolutionduring the new century, particularly in poetic creation. The modification of lyric discourseand of the dynamics that sustain it has channeled the power of its symbols and reached new expressive heights. For this reason, the objective of this study is twofold: to offer an overview of the physical disease linked to pain in contemporary Spanish poetry (2001-2020), and to analyse innovations in this theme over the last twenty years. As a conclusion, the analysis offers several key results in the reception, understanding, and development of this topic in the Spanish poetic discourse.
