    En este artículo se parte del planteamiento de Merleau-Ponty del cuerpo como una existencia ambigua, que no se puede reducir a un mero sujeto o a una mera cosa. Esto lleva a explorar el cuerpo desde ambas perspectivas. En primer lugar, se analiza el cuerpo como un objeto producto de las representaciones del capitalismo cognitivo y del sistema farmacopornográfico de poder descrito por Paul Beatriz Preciado. En segundo lugar, se analiza el cuerpo como sujeto, como elemento que posibilita la acción política, a partir de las reflexiones que han realizado Judith Butler y Jacques Rancière en torno al cuerpo vulnerable y al cuerpo estético, respectivamente. De esta manera, se encuentra que si bien el cuerpo se encuentra atravesado por los diferentes dispositivos de poder del capitalismo contemporáneo, así mismo en este se encuentra la potencialidad de resistencia y emancipación frente a estos mecanismos.

    This article starts from Merleau-Ponty's approach of body as an ambiguous existence, which can´t be reduced to a mere subject or a mere thing. This leads to explore the body from both perspectives. In the first place, the body is analyzed as an object product of the representations of cognitive capitalism and the pharmacopornographic system of power described by Paul Beatriz Preciado. In the Second place, the body is analyzed as a subject, as an element that enables political action, based on the reflections that Judith Butler and Jacques Rancière around the vulnerable body and the aesthetic body, respectively. In this manner, it´s found that although the body is traversed by the different power devices of contemporary capitalism, also in this is found the potential for resistance and emancipation against these mechanisms.
