    Este trabajo analiza la figura del monstruo como representación ominosa de las subjetividades posthumanas en la era digital en dos filmes latinoamericanos de los últimos años:Videofilia: y otrossíndromes virales (2015), del director peruano Juan Daniel F. Molero, y el cortometrajeUncannyValley(2015), del argentino Federico Heller. Si, como han señalado anteriormente los estudios sobreel tema, el monstruo es un dispositivo cultural (Moraña, 2017) que da forma a las ansiedades de unaépoca, si es un cuerpo legible en el que se inscriben los miedos de una cultura (Cohen, 1996), en la era digital el monstruo aparecerá como signo fundamental para encarnar nuevos temores y constituirse en la interfaz del horror.

    This work analyzes the monster’s notion as an uncanny representation of the posthumansubjectivities in the digital era, in two Latin-American films of the recent years: the Peruviandirector Juan Daniel F. Molero’sVideofilia: y otrossíndromes virales (2015), and the Argentinian Federico Heller’s short filmUncanny Valley (2015). If, as it has been previously suggested, themonster is a cultural dispositive (Moraña, 2017) that shapes the anxieties of a time; and if it is alsothe readable body on which the cultural fears are inscripted (Cohen, 1996), in the digital era, themonster will appear as a fundamental sign to embody new fears and become itself the interface of horror.
