Resumen de Spiroconulus perconigi n. gen. n. sp., a new Middle Jurassic Foraminifer of Oman and Spain

• Spiroconulus, a new foraminiferal genus represented by the genotype S. perconigi n. sp. is recorded from two widely separated localities, Northern Oman and Southern Spain. In both cases the new genus in associated with «Dictyoconus» cayeuri Lucas, a form so far found only in shallow marine Jurassic carbonates of? Upper Liassic - Dogger age in N-Africa, S-Europa and the Middle East.
