Resumen de Contribution to the Triassic Microfauna and Stratigraphy of the Betic Zone (Southern Spain)
For the first time, rather well-preserved holothurian selerites from epimetamorphic, strongly tectonized Triassic rock sequences are reported. Nine new specles and subspecies are described. The stratigraphy and tectonics of the regions in which the holothurian-bearing rocks occur, are briefly discussed. Attention is drawn to the fact that Triassic microfauna may be very valuable for establishing detailed stratigraphies, even in epimetamorphie rock sequences.
