Resumen de Late Cretaceous Planktonic Foraminifera from Prebetic Tectonic Elements near Jaén (Southern Spain)
Two localities near Jaén (prov. Jaén, S. Spain) contain rich faunas of planktonic Foraminifera of Late Cretaceous age. The localities are treated separately; in this paper the Late Maastrichtian fauna of Le Lendinez is described. More than twenty species of Globotruncanidae and Planomalinidae, and over fifteen species of Heterohelicidae allow the recognition of the presence of the mayaroensis and gansseri Zones.
