    A partir de un proyectoen la materia de Literatura Universal, que parte de la lectura de El papel amarillo, de Charlotte Perkins Gilman, se profundiza en la concepción de la mujer a finales del XIX y los roles a los que era sometida. Paralelamente, con esta lectura seestablecen analogías más actuales y se reflexiona sobre la necesidad de contar con un “cuarto propio” -real y metafórico-para la creatividad, la libertad y el desarrollo personal, tal y como señalaba Virginia Woolf, autora con la que también se conecta en esta iniciativa. Las reflexiones extraídas de ambos relatos sirven de hilo conductor para hablar de la autoría de obras escritas y protagonizadas por mujeres, analizar las causas yconsecuencias de su escasa presencia y visibilización y la necesidad de incorporarlas dentro los currículums educativos. Además, se ofrecen alternativas más coeducativas, trabajadas desde la publicidad y los productos narrativos audiovisuales.

    A project in the subject of World Literature, based on a reading ofCharlotte Perkins Gilman's The Yellow Wallpaper, explores the conception of women at the end of the 19th century and the roles to which they were subjected. At the same time, this reading establishes more contemporary analogies and reflects on the need for a "room of one's own" -real and metaphorical -for creativity, freedom and personal development, as pointed out by Virginia Woolf, an author who is also the subject of this initiative. The reflections drawn from both stories serve as a common thread to talk about the authorship of works written by and starring women, to analyse the causes and consequences of their scarce presence and visibility, and the need to incorporate them into educational curricula. In addition, more coeducationalalternatives are offered, worked on through advertising and audiovisual narrative products
