Resumen de The Eo-Cretaceous Foraminiferal Fauna from the Area between the Ialomitza and Prahova Valleys (Eastern Carpathians)
The first systematic micropaleontological investigation of the Eo-Cretaceous deposits of the area between the Ialomitza and Prahova Valleys (Eastern Carpathians) indicates the presence of an interesting foraminiferal fauna in a region of flysch sedimentation. A new species, Trochammina murgeanui is described among the numerous species of agglutinated and calcareous foraminifera. All the sediments belong to the Valanginian to Albian stages.
