  • Resumen
    • The data concerning the study of two samples from a seamount of the Caribbean sea are reported. The samples were dredged from a flank between the 620 and 730 meters depth. They are limestone with Algae (Corallinaceae) and Upper Oligocene- Lower Miocene indicative fossils (Lepidocyclina). Cavities filled by foraminiferal micrite including Globorotalia truncatulinoides, have been observed in one sample. From these data it can be inferred a possible emersión since the Lower Miocene and a Pleistocene rather deep submergence.
