    La producción científica del docente universitario está influenciada por una diversidad de condiciones generales para garantizar la calidad de las instituciones. El objetivo de la investigación fue la validación del instrumento sobre factores que influyen en la producción científica del docente universitario, particularmente estandarizar el cuestionario, destacando los elementos que intervienen en la producción científica del docente universitario, instrumento que evalúa los factores desde lo personal, institucional y estímulo que conducen a la producción intelectual del docente. Correspondió al enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico, descriptivo exploratorio. La muestra estuvo constituida por 215 docentes investigadores elegidos a través del muestreo probabilístico aleatorio estratificado a quienes se administró el instrumento mencionado, el cual fue sometido a la validez de contenido y la validez de constructo como el análisis exploratorio, análisis factorial confirmatorio de los ítems y fiabilidad con Alfa de Cronbach de 0,971; Coeficiente Omega de 0,942; y, Coeficiente Theta de 0,972. El cuestionario final contó con tres dimensiones: Factor personal, institucional y estímulo, aportando a la comunidad científica con cuarenta reactivos que permitirán diagnosticar aspectos que influyen en la tarea de producción científica del docente universitario.

    The scientific production of the university professor is influenced by a diversity of general conditions to guarantee the quality of the institutions. The objective of the research was the validation of the instrument on factors that influence the scientific production of the university professor, particularly to standardize the questionnaire, highlighting the elements that intervene in the scientific production of the university professor, an instrument that evaluates the factors from the personal, institutional and stimulus that lead to the intellectual production of the teacher. It corresponded to the quantitative approach, basic type, descriptive exploratory. The sample consisted of 215 research teachers chosen through stratified random probabilistic sampling to whom the aforementioned instrument was administered, which was subjected to content validity and construct validity such as exploratory analysis, confirmatory factor analysis of the items and reliability with Cronbach’s alpha of 0.971; Omega coefficient of 0.942; and, Theta coefficient of 0.972. The final questionnaire had three dimensions: personal, institutional and stimulus factors, contributing to the scientific community with forty reagents that will allow diagnosing aspects that influence the task of scientific production of the university professor.
