Resumen de Abandono, submissão e violência: a desmistificação do amor no romance de helena terra

  O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar a fragilidade das relações afetivas contemporâneas, a partir da trajetória da protagonista do romance A condição indestrutível de ter sido, de Helena Terra (2013). Busca-se também refletir como o ambiente cibernético corrobora para o sentimento de frustração que assola a personagem, que investe demasiada expectativa no amante, o qual se revela volúvel e opressor. Dessa forma, a obra apresenta uma figura feminina que reprime suas emoções para satisfazer os padrões sociais e tenta buscar no “outro” a satisfação dos seus anseios sentimentais; por consequência, desmistifica o ideal do amor romântico ocidental. A pesquisa embasa-se em estudos advindos dos Estudos Culturais como de, entre outros, Bauman (2004), Cevasco (2019) e Zolin (2019).

  The aim of this work is to analyze the fragility of contemporary affective relationships, from the trajectory of the protagonist of the novel A condicção indestrutível de ter sido, by Helena Terra (2013). Thus, it seeks to reflect on how the cybernetic environment corroborates the feeling of frustration that plagues the character, who invests too much expectation in the lover, who reveals to be fickle and oppressive. Thus, the novel presents a female figure who represses her emotions to satisfy social standards and tries to seek in the “other” the satisfaction of her sentimental longings; consequently, it demystifies the ideal of western romantic love. The research is based on studies from Cultural Studies such as, among others, Bauman (2004), Cevasco (2019) and Zolin (2019).
