Resumen de La criminología del sí mismo y la criminología del otro: Interpretaciones posibles desde las perspectivas de Durkheim y Freud

  En tiempos en que muchos paísessufren con el populismo punitivo, una de lassituaciones que merecen ser llevadas a debate es la posición de la actitud ciudadana entre la Criminología del Sí Mismo y la Criminología del Otro. Estas dos perspectivas de Criminología, acuñadas por Garland, tratan del proceso psicosocial de mentalidades y sensibilidades ciudadanas referentes, respectivamente, al modo de pensar, de sentir y de interpretar cuestiones relacionadas con el crimen y punición. Este artículo, por lo tanto, tiene el objetivo de contribuir en el debate, abordando otrasinterpretaciones posibles para la Criminología del Sí Mismo y Criminología del Otro desde la sociología de Durkheim (con enfoque en las ideas del delito en cuanto hecho social normal, del pathos en cuanto esencia de la punición y de la gestión racional del delito) y del psicoanálisis de Freud (de los estudios de pulsión de vida y de muerte, y de los principios de Nirvana, de placer y de realidad).

  In times when many countries suffer with punitive populism, one of the situations that deserves to be debated is the position of the citizen's attitude between the Criminology of the Self and the Criminology of the Other. These two perspectives of Criminology,shared by Garland, deal with the psychosocial process of citizen mentalities and sensibilities, respectively regarding the way of thinking, feeling and interpreting issues related to crime and punishment. This article, therefore, has the objective of contributing to the debate, addressing other possible interpretations for the Criminology of the Self and Criminology of the Other from Durkheim's sociology (with a focus on the ideas of crime as a normal social fact, of pathos as the essence of punishment and the rational management of crime) and Freud's psychoanalysis (of the life and death drive studies, and of the principles of Nirvana, pleasure and reality)
