  • Resumen
    • After the description of foraminifera communities destined to characterize marine biotopes (Hiltermann 1973), the present paper avails itself of an example (Bandy & Rodolfo 1964) for describing the methods to recognize the biocoenosis step by step from the trawl samples. The species lists of the samples represented in tabular form are rearranged and likewise the consecutive order of species in the table, both according to the methods developed by Braun-Blanquet for the delimitation of plant communities. A tabular comparision of the communities recognized in this analysis with those already described by Hiltermann (1973) makes it possible to establish a new class with one order and one alliance comprising two associations.
