Resumen de Depth Distribution of Recent Foraminifera in Selected Bays, Tobago Island, West Indies

Sally S. Radford

  • Distribution studies of living foraminifera in shallow water in the nearshore zone and inner shelf around Tobago Island in the Southern Caribbean Sea, indicate the presence of major faunal depth boundaries at 21 m on the northwest coast and at 15 m on the eastern coast. Upper and lower depth zones are thus recognised. These boundaries correspond to the 20 m faunal boundary already established in other areas of the world.
