    El juego una mirada desde los diferentes autores es un tema, que se enfoca en el hecho de ratificar la importancia que tiene esta actividad dentro del proceso educativo, el juego cumple un rol incondicional e irremplazable dentro de este ámbito, a través de la historia se identifica que los diversos autores lo califican como esencial, primordial y natural; es por tal motivo que los docentes deben reconocer su importancia para poderlo poner en práctica dentro del quehacer educativo, ya que de esta manera se beneficia el desarrollo integral. En este sentido la presente investigación busca describir cómo ha evolucionado el juego en el ámbito educativo, a través de la exposición de algunas teorías y aportes de diversos autores, para reconocer su importancia y trascendencia en el desarrollo de los niños, el presente estudio se basa en un enfoque cualitativo, mediante la revisión bibliográfica-descriptiva, de revistas y libros legalmente reconocidos que cuentan con ISSN o ISBN, se incluyeron artículos que están dentro de los años 2016 al 2021, se excluyeron tesis, repositorios y blogs, la acción de búsqueda bibliográfica fue exhaustiva, digital y automatizada, a través del programa Publish or Perish, los buscadores utilizados fueron, Academic.Microsoft y Google Academic. Se elaboró una línea de tiempo rescatando los aportes cronológicos de la evolución del juego y dos tablas comparativas las cuales responden a las preguntas investigativas, se evidencia diferentes aportes acerca del juego, podrán encontrar breves descripciones de algunas teorías del juego y se mencionan  aspectos relevantes del juego. Se destaca el hecho de que el juego es una actividad inherente al ser humano, cumple un rol innegable dentro del proceso educativo, los aportes de grandes precursores ponen en manifiesto el hecho de que la actividad lúdica favorece el desarrollo del niño, permitiéndole realizar lo que más ama que es jugar.

TARGET. Describe how the game has evolved in the educational field, through the exposition of some theories and contributions from various authors, to recognize its importance and transcendence in the development of children. METHOD. This research is based on a qualitative approach, through a bibliographic-descriptive review of legally recognized magazines and books that have ISSN or ISBN, articles that are within the years 2016 to 2021 were included, theses, repositories and blogs were excluded. , the bibliographic search action was exhaustive, digital and automated, through the Publish or Perish program, the search engines used were Academic.Microsoft and Google Academic. RESULTS. A timeline was drawn up rescuing the chronological contributions of the evolution of the game and two comparative tables were drawn up which answer the investigative questions, different contributions about the game are evidenced, brief descriptions of some game theories can be found and aspects are mentioned relevant.
