    El mantenimiento preventivo del vehículo permite alargar el tiempo máximo de funcionamiento de las piezas del motor. No obstante, al no realizar el mantenimiento constante se producen fallas en el funcionamiento del sistema, el combustible deja de suministrar parcial o totalmente lo cual provoca que el motor del vehículo no encienda o se apaga en el funcionamiento. Del mismo modo, las averías ocasionan disminución de potencia, consumo excesivo de combustible que alteran los elementos internos y disminución de la capacidad de lubricación del aceite del motor. Es por ello, que el trabajo investigativo tiene el objetivo de realizar el mantenimiento preventivo en base al cronograma establecido para el sistema de alimentación del vehículo Chevrolet Grand Vitara SZ V6 del Instituto Superior Tecnológico “Carlos Cisneros”. Además, se efectuaron pruebas de ruta al término del mantenimiento donde se constató la fiabilidad del sistema de alimentación de combustible y el buen funcionamiento de vehículo.

    The preventive maintenance of the vehicle allows to extend the maximum time of operation of the engine parts. However, by not performing constant maintenance, failures occur in the operation of the system, the fuel stops supplying partially or totally, which causes the vehicle's engine to not turn on or turn off during operation. In the same way, failures cause a decrease in power, excessive fuel consumption that alter the internal elements and a decrease in the lubricating capacity of the engine oil. That is why the investigative work has the objective of carrying out preventive maintenance based on the schedule established for the power system of the Chevrolet Grand Vitara SZ V6 vehicle of the "Carlos Cisneros" Higher Technological Institute. In addition, road tests were carried out at the end of the maintenance, where the reliability of the fuel supply system and the proper functioning of the vehicle were verified.
