Resumen de Lateralidad Contrariada en Educación Infantil

  La lateralidad es entendida de manera genérica como el predominio funcional de la mitad de nuestro cuerpo, en relación con la otra mitad. El Sistema Nervioso Central (SNC), determina, en base al desarrollo de una lateralidad homogénea, el predominio de la mejor utilización de una parte del cuerpo sobre la otra, dentro de la utilización de las manos (superior), vista, oído y pies (inferior). En este sentido, se ha realizado un estudio a 40 alumnos/as del segundo ciclo de Educación Infantil (3 a 6 años), y a 12 maestros/as para conocer la influencia que tiene en la intervención docente, el aspecto de la lateralidad en el desarrollo educativo del alumnado. Además, ha sido evaluado mediante cuestionarios a alumnado y profesorado. El estudio de la investigación muestra una relación entre edad y lateralidad que indica que, a los tres años, no existen diferencias entre un predominio de un lugar u otro, produciéndose una definición con el paso de los años en la etapa de Educación Infantil. En relación con el estudio llevado a cabo al profesorado, dicho estudio ha indicado que, de manera inconsciente, delimitan que el alumnado es diestro.

  Laterality is understood generically as the functional predominance of half of our body, in relation to the other half. The Central Nervous System (CNS) determines, based on the development of a homogeneous laterality, the predominance of the best use of one part of the body over the other, within the use of the hands (upper), sight, ear and feet (lower). In this sense, a study has been carried out on 40 students of the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3 to 6 years), and 12 teachers to know the influence that has on the teaching intervention, the aspect of laterality in the educational development of students. In addition, it has been evaluated through questionnaires to students and teachers. The study of the research shows a relationship between age and laterality that indicates that, at three years, there are no differences between a predominance of one place or another, producing a definition over the years in the stage of Early Childhood Education. In relation to the study carried out to the teaching staff, this study has indicated that, unconsciously, they delimit that the students are right-handed.
