    El presente trabajo se propone la realización de un análisis prosopográfico de tres Alcaldes de la Hermandad del Partido de Pergamino que fueron elegidos entre los años 1785 y 1821, cuando el Gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos Aires decidió su reemplazo por los Jueces de Paz. A partir del perfil social que tuvieron esos funcionarios, podremos tener una primera aproximación de cuál fue el grupo social que encabezó el primer elenco gobernante en la región y cuáles fueron las diferencias entre ellos. También se profundizará el alcance de sus funciones, tanto las determinadas por las normativas vigentes como las decididas por las autoridades superiores. Por otra parte, se revisará su relación con los otros poderes establecidos en la zona y la relación que mantuvieron con los Alcaldes Provinciales y los Ordinarios del Cabildo porteño. Las fuentes que se utilizarán en el trabajo serán diversas: los partes de los Comandantes de Frontera; los Acuerdos del Extinguido Cabildo de Buenos Aires; el Empadronamiento de 1779; el Padrón de la campaña de 1779; el Censo de Hacendados de 1789, y; el Censo de 1815, entre otros.

    The present work proposes the realization of a prosopographic analysis of three Mayors of the Brotherhood of the Pergamino Party who were elected between the years 1785 and 1821, when the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires decided to replace them with the Justices of the Peace. From the social profile that these officials had, we will be able to have a first approximation of which was the social group that headed the first ruling cast in the region and what were the differences between them. The scope of its functions will also be deepened, both those determined by current regulations and those decided by higher authorities. On the other hand, their relationship with the other powers established in the area and the relationship they maintained with the Provincial Mayors and Ordinaries of the Buenos Aires City Council will be reviewed. The sources that will be used in the work will be diverse: the parts of the Border Commanders; the Agreements of the extinct Cabildo of Buenos Aires; the Registration of 1779; the Register of the 1779 campaign; the Census of Landowners of 1789, and; the 1815 Census, among others
