Este trabajo se presenta como un estudio tecnológico de los hornos del Sector Beiro del Barrio Alfarero de Cartuja (ss. I-II d. C.), en el cual se han aplicado diversas técnicas arqueométricas (FTIR, DRX, FRX, etc.), para avanzar en el conocimiento sobre dichas producciones cerámicas, en cuanto a cuestiones como son rango de temperaturas, funcionalidad y la posible existencia de una selección de arcillas estructurales.
This research is presented as a technological study about the Beiro Sector kilns in the Workshop District of Cartuja (1st-2nd century AD) where different archaeometrical techniques have been applied (FTIR, XRD, XRF, etc.), with the aim to increase the knowledge about these pottery productions in terms of issues such as temperature range, functionality and the possible existence of a selection of structural clay.
