Resumen de Agronegócio e a extrema-direita bolsonarista: simbiose que engendra e amplia a barbárie socioambiental no Brasil

Agribusiness is a complex economic sector due to the range of relationships established among the different agents that make up its material framework. However, its main employers present themselves as a monolithic political party, organized and well-articulated when what is at stake is the defense of the sector’s interests. It is a group that imposes a set of actions to deconstruct the rules and circumvent the laws that can hinder the advance of capital over the totality of social relations. This work highlights the expanded hegemony of agribusiness in the current power bloc, whose representatives occupy half of the seats in the House and Senate, as well as prominent positions in the last government (2019-2022). On this path, they have transformed the State’s institutional apparatus into a mechanism that creates implicit immunities, legalizing deforestation and violence in the countryside, through laws and norms that have favored the maintenance and expansion of the tragic historical picture that the country is currently experiencing, whether in the social, economic, or environmental sphere. Thus, agribusiness has consolidated itself as one of the main bases of support for the Bolsonarist Far-Right, with its political agenda largely favorable to the aforementioned model. It is relationship that expands and deepens social inequalities and environmental degradation in Brazil.

O agronegócio, configura-se como um setor econômico complexo devido o leque de relações estabelecidas entre os diferentes agentes que compõe a sua ossatura material. No entanto, suas principais entidades patronais se apresentam como um partido político monolítico, organizado e bem articulado quando o assunto é a defesa de interesses do setor. Grupo que impõe um conjunto de ações para desconstruir as regras e burlar as leis que possam atrapalhar o avanço do capital sobre a totalidade das relações sociais. Este trabalho, destaca a ampliada hegemonia do agronegócio no atual bloco de poder, cujos representantes ocupam metade dos assentos da Câmara e do Senado, além de cargos de destaque no último governo (2019 – 2022). Nesse caminho, transformaram o aparato institucional do Estado em um mecanismo que cria imunidades implícitas, legalizando o desmatamento e a violência no campo, através de leis e normas que favoreceram a manutenção e ampliação do quadro histórico trágico que o país vive, seja na esfera social, econômica ou ambiental. Assim, o agronegócio consolidou-se como umas das principais bases de sustentação da Extrema-Direita bolsonarista com sua agenda política amplamente favorável ao supracitado modelo. Relação que expande e aprofunda às desigualdades sociais e a degradação ambiental no Brasil.
