    El presente trabajo investigativo se desarrolló en el sitio Los Arenales de la parroquia Crucita, del cantón Portoviejo, provincia de Manabí, Ecuador, tuvo como objetivo principal evaluar la incidencia de la productividad de los Comerciantes Minoristas de Mariscos Los Arenales, se aplicó la metodología descriptiva y exploratoria, con el propósito de investigar a profundidad el objeto de estudio. Las técnicas de investigación que se utilizaron fueron la encuesta que fue dirigida a los colaboradores y la entrevistas al gerente en la asociación, permitiendo obtener una mejor apreciación del objeto de estudio. Como resultados se evidencia que en la asociación posee un alto nivel de eficiencia, sin embargo, el entorno en el que se encuentre, les impide desarrollar de la mejor manera sus capacidades de servicio hacia la ciudadanía. En conclusión, el nivel de productividad respecto al salario y la productividad laboral es considerablemente moderado.

    The present investigative work was developed in the Los Arenales site of the Crucita parish, of the Portoviejo canton, province of Manabí, Ecuador, its main objective was to evaluate the incidence of the productivity of Los Arenales Seafood Retail Merchants, the descriptive methodology was applied and exploratory, with the purpose of investigating in depth the object of study. The research techniques that were used were the survey that was directed to the collaborators and the interview with the manager in the association, obtaining a better appreciation of the object of study. As results, it is evident that the association has a high level of efficiency, however, the environment in which it is found prevents them from developing their service capabilities to the public in the best way. In conclusion, the level of productivity regarding salary and labor productivity is moderate.
