Estrategias educativas en la solución de conflictos escolares entre adolescentes

    La finalidad de la investigación fue, por un lado, establecer la relación entre las variables que conforman los componentes conflicto, estrategias y acciones de convivencia; por otro lado, determinar las acciones de convivencia, más afines a las estrategias utilizadas por el profesorado. Por la naturaleza de la convivencia escolar, los estudiantes interactúan con actitudes positivas y negativas, provocando conductas y conflictos de distinta índole y diferente intensidad. Por ello, el rol del profesorado es generar soluciones ante los conflictos. El diseño de la investigación fue cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo con un nivel correlacional no experimental. El objeto de estudio fueron los estudiantes de los novenos y décimos años de Educación General Básica de la ciudad de Quito. El instrumento para la recolección de datos se utilizó la encuesta, se estructuró en función de las variables, dimensiones e indicadores. El procesamiento de datos se realizó con el apoyo del software SPSS y los resultados permitieron: dar respuesta a las preguntas de investigación ¿Existe una relación lineal entre los componentes, conflictos, estrategias y acciones de convivencia? ¿Cuáles son las acciones de convivencia que más se relacionan con las estrategias utilizadas por el profesorado en la solución de conflictos?; se concluye, con la existencia de una relación entre los componentes conflicto, estrategias y acciones de convivencia. Según la percepción de los investigados, las estrategias más utilizadas por los docentes fueron, viabilizar el abordaje en la solución de conflictos; mientras que las acciones de convivencia de mayor relación fueron: la participación de estudiantes y docentes en el establecimiento de normas, expresión y regulación de emociones, trabajo dentro del currículo de clase, educación en valores, cooperación en las actividades de clases, debido a la significancia establecida en los resultados.

    The purpose of the research was, on the one hand, to establish the relationship between the variables that make up the components of conflict, strategies and coexistence actions; on the other hand, determine the actions of coexistence, more akin to the strategies used by teachers. Due to the nature of school coexistence, students interact with positive and negative attitudes, provoking behaviors and conflicts of different nature and intensity. Therefore, the role of teachers is to generate solutions to conflicts. The research design was quantitative and descriptive with a non-experimental correlational level. The objects under review were the students from ninth and tenth grade of Basic General Education in the city of Quito. The instrument for data collection was the survey, it was structured according to the variables, dimensions and indicators. The data processing was carried out with the support of the SPSS software and the results allowed: to answer the research questions, Is there a linear relationship between the components conflicts, strategies and coexistence actions? What are the coexistence actions that are most related to the strategies used by teachers in conflict resolution? it concludes with, the existence of a relationship between the conflict components, strategies and actions of coexistence. According to the perception of those surveyed, the strategies most used by teachers were to make the approach to conflict resolution viable; while the coexistence actions with the greatest relationship were: the participation of students and teachers in the establishment of norms, expression and regulation of emotions, work within the class curriculum, education in values, cooperation in class activities, due to the significance established in the results.
