Toma de decisiones en mujeres víctimas de violencia de pareja: una revisión sistemática

    La toma de decisiones ha sido considerada como un factor importante en el empoderamiento de las mujeres y en la disminución de la violencia hacia ellas, el presente artículo constituye una revisión sistemática comprendida entre los años 2010 y 2021 de la toma de decisiones en mujeres violentadas por sus parejas. Se utilizaron cinco bases de datos como Scopus, PubMed, Dialnet, Redalyc y Scielo. Se realizó una elección de veintiún artículos que cumplieron con los criterios de selección y entre los resultados se encontraron la relación favorable de la toma de decisiones y disminución de la violencia de pareja, no obstante, en ciertos lugares esto puede constituir un factor de riesgo al estar la mujer atenta a sus derechos. Por último, es importante tener en cuenta los procesos cognitivos que están implicados a la hora de tomar decisiones y sus implicaciones en mujeres violentadas.

    Decision-making has been considered an important factor in the empowerment of women and the reduction of violence against them. This article constitutes a systematic review between the years 2010 and 2021 of decision-making in women abused by their partners. Five databases such as Scopus, PubMed, Dialnet, Redalyc and Scielo. Finally, a choice of 21 articles was made that met the selection criteria and among the results, the favorable relationship between decision- making and the reduction of intimate partner violence was found; however, in certain places this may constitute a risk factor as women are attentive to their rights. Lastly it is important to consider the cognitive processes that are involved in decisions making and their implications for women who are victims of violence.
