Resumen de The role of universities in the transfer of technology for regional development
This article describes the importance of Universities in the trans-fer of technology for regional development. Emphasizes the role of patents as an indicator of the University-Industry cooperation levels. Explains the general situation of Mexico with respect to this issue and questions what would be a scheme that would allow public universities a more effective and pragmatic way of transferring technology for the development of the most promising sectors in their region.
