El artículo constituye la presentación de los trabajos que incluye este número monográfico de la revista Creatividad y Sociedad con motivo de haberse cumplido 20 años de la aparición del número 1 de la revista. Tiene tres partes diferenciadas: en primer lugar, un acercamiento, por parte de la autora, a la noción de creatividad desde la Psicología. En segundo lugar, la revisión histórica del estudio sistemático de la creatividad en España, desde el trabajo pionero del profesor Ricardo Marín que organizó un Congreso Mundial de Creatividad en Madrid en el año 93; a quién por su profunda dedicación al tema, creando escuela, todos consideramos pionero en el estudio de la Creatividad en España; también se mencionan los hitos posteriores que tuvieron lugar desde ese año en la forma de encuentros, congresos, posgrados y programas de doctorado sobre creatividad en la universidad española, destacando el nacimiento de ASOCREA que es quien publica esta revista. Por último, el articulo presenta las contribuciones que vienen a continuación: artículos de personas que han trabajado por la Asociación durante estas largas dos décadas desde su creación en 2000 y que han dedicado gran parte de su trabajo investigador y docente al estudio de la creatividad.

The article constitutes the presentation of the works included in this monographic number of the Creatividad y Sociedad review with reason of the 20th anniversary of the appearance of its number 1. It has three different parts: first, an approach, by the author, to the notion of creativity from Psychology. Secondly, the historical review of the systematic study of creativity in Spain, from the pioneering work of Professor Ricardo Marín who organized a World Congress of Creativity in Madrid in 1993; who for his deep dedication to the subject, creating a school, we all consider a pioneer in the study of creativity in Spain; The subsequent milestones that took place since that year are also mentioned consistent in meetings, congresses, postgraduate courses and doctoral programs on creativity in the Spanish university, highlighting the birth of ASOCREA, which is the publisher of this magazine. Finally, the article presents the following contributions: articles by people who have worked for the Association during these long two decades since its creation in 2000 and who have dedicated a large part of their research and teaching work to the study of creativity
