    En el presente trabajo nos proponemos adentrarnos en el estudio de las obras literarias de dos de los autores más influyentes de la tradición literaria reciente: Octavio Paz y Julio Cortázar. Partiendo de sus confluencias vitales y culturales, en este artículo se pretende hacer un análisis exhaustivo sobre las afinidades y discrepancias que caracterizan la producción de estos dos autores, a partir de fragmentos de relatos y poemas escogidos. De esta manera, la hipótesis principal de la que se parte es que —bien con conciencia a la hora de la producción, o bien sin ella— estos escritores han conseguido crear una red de intertextos que nos permiten, no sólo poder conocer mejor de qué manera se desarrollan individualmente sus obras; sino, además, construir un paisaje literario desde el que los podemos conectar y acceder a un modo de escritura que ha marcado ya para siempre la Historia de la Literatura.

    In this paper we aim to study the literary works of two of the most influentialauthors of the recent literary tradition: Octavio Paz and JulioCortázar. Starting from their vital and cultural confluences, this articleintends to make an exhaustive analysis of the affinities and discrepanciesthat characterize the production of these two authors, based on fragmentsof selected stories and poems. In this way, the main hypothesis isthat — either consciously at the time of production, or without it — thesewriters have managed to create a network of intertexts that allow us,not only to know better how their works develop individually, but also tobuild a literary landscape from which we can connect them and access away of writing that has already marked forever the History of Literature.
