    Como os seguros de viagem fazem a intermediação entre o viajante e a cidade que ele visita? Que tipo de hospitalidade acontece na relação entre o agente de seguros e o cliente? Para responder a estas questões, foram utilizados como referencial teórico, autores do campo da hospitalidade, turismo, seguros e matérias de revistas especializadas no assunto. A metodologia utilizada consistiu em pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema e entrevista semi-estruturadas com cinco profissionais que atuam de formas diversas no setor de seguro viagem. Como resultados, trazem-se um elenco dos riscos em viagens e os tipos de cobertura existentes, bem como, principalmente o posicionamento dos agentes. Notou-se que, mesmo não sendo a regra, existe, no contato de agentes de seguro e turistas, a aqui chamada hospitalidade genuína que transborda da encenada.

    How travel insurance mediate between the traveler and the visited city? What kind of hospitality in the true relationship between the insurance agent and the customer? To answer these questions, were used as theoretical framework, the authors of the field of hospitality, tourism, insurance and issues of professional journals on the subject. The methodology consisted of literature on the subject and five semi-structured interviews with professionals working in various forms in the sector of insurance. As a result, bring up a list of risks on travel and the types of coverage available as well, especially the positioning of agents. It was noted that, while not the rule exists, contact the insurance agents and tourists, here called the genuine hospitality that overflows staged.
