  Este trabajo propone la necesidad de considerar la existencia de material inédito relevante referido a la historia interna del Congreso Constituyente de Santa Fe que sancionó la Constitución el 1° de mayo de 1853 y la importancia de revisarlo y estudiarlo en profundidad. A partir de material igualmente inédito, plantea que hay que analizar y estudiar también la influencia de autores como Alexis de Tocqueville y Juan Bautista Alberdi en los convencionales constituyentes de 1853 y en la propia Constitución nacional.

  This article proposes the need to consider the existence of relevant unpublished materials related to the internal history of the General Constitutional Convention of Santa Fe that adopted the Argentine Constitution on May 1, 1853 and the need to review and study such materials in depth. Based on equally unpublished materials, the article proposes the need to also analyze and study the influence that writers such as Alexis de Tocqueville and Juan Bautista Alberdi had on the constitutional actors of 1853 and the Argentine Constitution itself.
