Resumen de Las Cofradías y Hermandades de Guipúzcoa en 1772 y la reforma de Carlos III

Se estudia el estado de las cofradías y hermandades existentes en Guipúzcoa en 1772, como consecuencia de la averiguación que Carlos III ordenó realizar en toda España, y en nuestro caso al Corregidor Don Miguel de Barreda y Yebra, para proceder a regular la multitud de asociaciones de carácter gremial o religioso existentes sin las debidas licencias y que empobrecían a sus cofrades y hermanos. Acompañan las constituciones del gremio de armeros, de la advocación de Santa Bárbara, anteriores a la reforma, y las de la cofradía de Nuestra Señora de Izaskun, posteriores a la misma.

A study of the state of the existing brotherhoods and fraternities in Gipuzkoa in 1772 took place as a consequence of the research ordered by Charles III throughout Spain, and in our case to the chief magistrate Miguel de Barreda y Yebra, to regulate the many trade or religious associations that were set up without the proper licences and that impoverished their brothers and members.
They accompany the constitutions of the gunsmiths’ guild, the invocation of Santa Bárbara prior to the reform, and those of the brotherhood of Nuestra Señora de Izaskun, subsequent to the same.

Gipuzkoan 1772an zeuden kofradien eta ermandadeen egoera aztertzen da, Carlos III.ak Espainia osoan eta, gure kasuan, Miguel de Barreda y Yebra korrejidoreari egin zion ikerketaren ondorioz, behar bezalako lizentziarik gabe existitzen ziren eta kofradiak eta ermandadeak pobretzen zituzten gremioen edo erlijiosoen elkarte ugariak arautzeko. Armaginen gremioaren, erreformaren aurreko Santa Barbararen adbokazioaren eta bere ondorengo Ainhizeko Andre Mariaren kofradiaren konstituzioak eransten dira.
