Resumen de The evolution and distribution of the ostracod genus Leptocythere Sars, 1925 from the Miocene to recent in Europe
The evolution and both stratigraphical and geographical distribution of the ostracod Genus Leptocythere Sars, 1925 in Europe is summarised and the possible causes of fluctuations in the diversity and changes in the rate of its evolution are examined. Comment is made on the value of the genus as an index fossil.
