In this work, after a brief explanation of the assumptions on which the development of theCSA corpus is based and of what conceptually underlies the difference between grammaticaldescription and linguistic corpus annotation, the study of what we call delimiting structuresis addressed. Delimiting structures are non-predicative syntactic structures not recognizedas such in the tradition, which studies, on the one hand, the sequences built around wordslike excepto and the like and, on the other, those built around incluso and the like. An analysisis proposed for a part of these structures, which is applied in CSA, and it is also studied howthe analysis of delimiting structures is encoded and varies along three different syntacticallyanalyzed corpus (UAM Spanish Treebank, IULA Spanish LSP Treebank and AnCora-es).
