Resumen de Disolución del Tribunal de Minería y distribución de competencias: 1783-1827

En este artículo se registra el entramado corporativo vigente en el antiguo régimen colonial, a través del establecimiento del Tribunal de Minería en 1783. Las competencias que se le atribuyen y la forma en que se ejercen, situación que se modifica cuando en 1826, el gobierno superior decreta su desintegración y deja en manos de cada uno de los Estados de la república, la organización de la actividad minera en sus diferentes cometidos. Los argumentos que sostuvo el Congreso constituyente del Estado de México nos muestran cómo enfrentan los diputados esta tarea, lo que nos manifiesta las dificultades que encontraron para acomodar las nuevas bases políticas, con el modelo de gobierno hasta entonces vigente.

The subject is the existence of the corporative framework in colonial New Spain through the institution of the Tribunal de Minería (Court of Mining) in 1783, the attributions of the Court and the ways of its exercise. Such situation changed in 1826, after the independence, when the Superior Government decided its dissolution and left to each State of the Mexican republic the organization of mining activities. The argumentation of the Constituent Congress of the State of Mexico and the confrontations between its representatives enlighten the problems and the solutions they found in order to adjust the new policy to the previous system of government.
