    O artigo analisa a experiência das mulheres geekem eventos e convenções a partir da perspectiva das artistas participantes da Comic Con Experience, observando o aumento da presença feminina nesse ambiente considerado masculino. Como procedimentos metodológicos, a pesquisa descritiva se baseou em revisão bibliográfica e entrevistas narrativas com a colaboração de 32 respondentes. A partir das análises, identificamos que apesar de as mulheres estarem ocupando cada vez mais espaço nesses eventos, elas ainda não são vistas com igualdade e respeitadas por parte dos atendentes masculinos do evento. As mulheres sentem insegurança ao se identificarem como geeks, sendo necessária a inclusão delas em várias partes da comunidade para mudar essa realidade. Por fim, constatamos que as micro agressões sofridas são muito comuns entre as artistas entrevistadas, o que demonstra que ainda estamos muito longe da igualdade de gênero no meio geek.

    The article analyzes the experience of women geeks in events and conventions from the perspective of the artists participating in the Comic Con Experience, observing the increase in the female presence in this environment considered masculine. As methodological procedures, the descriptive research was based on a literature review and narrative interviews with the collaboration of 32 respondents. From the analysis, we identified that although women occupy more space in these events, they are still not seen with equality and respect by the male attendants of the event. Women feel insecure when identifying as geeks, and inclusion in various parts of the community is necessary to change this reality. Finally, we found that the microaggressions suffered are very common among the artists interviewed, which shows that we are still far from gender equality in the geek environment.
