Resumen de La Teoría del Capital Humano en la década del 90: ¿Influencias en el “progreso” socio-educativo argentino?

El presente ensayo se propone, analizar algunos de los principios de la Teoría del Capital Humano y sus consecuencias en el ámbito educativo. Este modelo constituyó –en sus inicios– uno de los principios económicos más importantes que marcaron el sistema educativo de la época, no solo logrando establecer –para entonces– lo que se consideró una forma de lectura de posibles “avances” y progresos en el ámbito educativo, sino posteriormente, estableciéndose como la piedra angular del resurgimiento del modelo post-capitalista durante los años 90.
Por lo expuesto, resulta de suma importancia el análisis de dicha teoría y las consecuencias de la misma en el campo educativo argentino. Siendo así, este ensayo se estructura a partir de dos segmentos: en el primero de ellos, se realiza un breve recorrido de los inicios de la Teoría del Capital Humano, para luego, en un segundo apartado efectuar un análisis, sobre cómo la misma influyó en el campo educativo argentino, a partir de la implementación de leyes educativas que marcaron la educación del país. El desarrollo de estos aspectos, permitirá abordar algunas reflexiones finales en torno a dicha teoría económica y sus influencias en la desigualdad socio-educativa, que determina nuestra realidad desde hace ya varias décadas.

This essay intends to analyze some of the principles of the Human Capital Theory and its consequences in the educational field. This model constituted -in its beginnings- one of the most important economic principles that marked the educational system of the time, not only managing to establish -by then- what was considered a way of reading possible "advances" and progress in the field educational, but later, establishing itself as the cornerstone of the resurgence of the post-capitalist model during the 90s.
For these reasons, the analysis of this theory and its consequences in the Argentine educational field is of the utmost importance. Thus, this essay is structured from two segments: in the first of them, a brief tour of the beginnings of the Human Capital Theory is made, and then, in a second section, an analysis is carried out on how it influenced in the Argentine educational field, from the implementation of educational laws that marked the education of the country. The development of these aspects will allow us to address some final reflections on said economic theory and its influences on socio-educational inequality, which has determined our reality for several decades now.
