    En esta edición la Revista Pedagógicos contiene principalmente artículos que muestran trabajos realizados con respecto a la integración del idioma extranjero inglés en los diferentes procesos educativos, los cuales intentan demostrar cómo actuar ante las barreras que un segundo idioma, para este caso el inglés como idioma universal, puede estar generando y estar siendo el impedimento para el desarrollo de procesos no solo comunicativos, sino de intercambio de saberes científicos y socio culturales que conllevan a la transformación de la sociedad.

    Este aporte surge ante el fenómeno de la globalización e internacionalización de los currículos y de la necesidad de integrar las competencias comunicativas, con metodologías sustentadas en teorías lingüísticas y pedagógicas, que han arrojado experiencias significativas, las cuales merecen ser compartidas, pues buscan familiarizar y hacer más amigable el aprendizaje del idioma inglés.

    Por otra parte, siendo de gran importancia el desarrollo de investigaciones para mejorar la planeación del aprendizaje, se presenta en esta edición un artículo producto de investigación a partir de la aplicación de un instrumento para identificar los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes y su coherencia con el diseño que el docente planee para el desarrollo en su enseñanza, elementos que deben ser tenidos en cuenta en el quehacer docente.

    Así mismo y en coherencia con los retos del mundo actual, se presenta un artículo enfocado en el análisis de la forma como se aborda un tema polémico como es la educación sexual y la salud reproductiva, ante los diferentes desafíos que pueden generar el tratar este tipo de temas en los diferentes escenarios educativos que propende por una formación integral de las personas y que pueden ser afectados por preconceptos que se tengan alrededor de este tema.

    Esperando que los temas aquí tratados sean de aprovechamiento para los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje, como para la formación de una generación que requiere atención acorde a los cambios del mundo actual.

    In this edition, the Revista Pedagógicos contains mainly articles that show work carried out regarding the integration of the foreign language English in the different educational processes, which try to demonstrate how to act before the barriers that a second language, in this case, English as a universal language. , may be generating and being an impediment to the development of not only communicative processes, but also the exchange of scientific and socio-cultural knowledge that lead to the transformation of society.

    This contribution arises from the phenomenon of globalization and internationalization of curricula and the need to integrate communicative skills, with methodologies supported by linguistic and pedagogical theories, which have yielded significant experiences, which deserve to be shared, since they seek to familiarize and make friendlier learning the English language.

    On the other hand, since the development of research to improve learning planning is of great importance, this edition presents an article that is the product of research based on the application of an instrument to identify the learning styles of students and their coherence with the design that the teacher plans for the development in his teaching, elements that must be taken into account in the teaching task.

    Likewise, and in coherence with the challenges of today's world, an article is presented focused on the analysis of the way in which a controversial issue such as sexual education and reproductive health is addressed, given the different challenges that dealing with this type of treatment can generate. of topics in the different educational scenarios that promotes an integral formation of people and that can be affected by preconceptions that are held around this topic.

    Hoping that the topics discussed here are useful for the teaching-learning processes, as well as for the formation of a generation that requires attention according to the changes in today's world.
