Resumen de A imaginação da nação na historiografia comunista portuguesa

Este artigo analisa a história de Portugal imaginada pela historiografia marxista próxima do Partido Comunista Português. Partindo da análise da obra dos principais historiadores comunistas portugueses, apresentam-se as ideias centrais desta narrativa ao longo dos principais períodos e temas históricos (Descobrimentos, Inquisição, emergência do capitalismo). A análise coloca a questão no seio da questão geral da relação entre comunismo e nacionalismo em Portugal. Salientam-se as continuidades e rupturas face a outras tradições historiográficas eà própria filosofia geral do marxismo-leninismo. O artigo é um primeiro ensaio sobre as imagens centrais da narrativa histórica e propõe algumas conclusões sobre os conceitos de tempo, sujeito, nação e classe na deologia marxista portuguesa.

The article proposes a definition of the Portuguese history imagined by the Marxist historiography closer to the Communist Portuguese Party. Electing a set of communist historians (the most notable ones), the article underlines the main theses sustained on the Portuguese history, from the discoveries period to the advent of capitalism, passing through the inquisition process. The article balances the location of the Portuguese Marxist historiography between the Marxist Leninist general philosophy of history and the different currents of Portuguese historiography. It's a first essay that synthesises the central images of the historical narrative, advancing some conclusions about the concept of time, agency, nation and class in the Marxist Portuguese thought.

Cet article analyse I 'histoire de Portugal qui est imaginée par I'historiographie marxiste prochaine au Parti Communiste Portugais. En partant de I'analyse de I'œuvre des principaux historiens communistes portugais, l'article affirment des idées centrales de cette narrative, en passant pour les principaux périodes et themes historiques (du période de les découverts portugaises au procês de I'inquisition et à I 'émergence du capitalisme). L'analyse situe la question au cœur de la question générale de la relation entre communisme et nationalisme au Portugal. On cherche les continuités et les ruptures par rapport à d'autres traditions historiographiques portugaises et aussi par rapport à la philosophie générale du rnarxisme-Iéninisme. Cet article est un premier essai concernant les images centrales de la narrative historique et il propose quelques conclusions sur les concepts de tempe, sujet, nation et classe dans la idéologie marxiste portugaise.
