Resumen de La memoria social en el campo de los estudios migratorios de la Argentina: un estado de la cuestión (2001-2020)

La bibliografía especializada afirma que el interés del campo de los estudios migratorios por los procesos de recordación social comenzó a manifestarse, en Europa y los Estados Unidos, durante la primera década del siglo XXI. En la Argentina carecemos de estudios que analicen dicho proceso y presenten un estado de la cuestión sobre el mismo. El objetivo principal de este artículo es construir un estado de la cuestión que dé cuenta de las relaciones establecidas, durante las dos primeras décadas del siglo XXI, entre el campo de los estudios migratorios y el campo de estudios sobre la memoria social de la Argentina. Los resultados del artículo permiten describir la evolución de las relaciones establecidas entre ambos campos académicos, identificar los temas analizados por la bibliografía de referencia y, finalmente, mostrar cuáles han sido los logros alcanzados y las limitaciones que aún persisten al interior de esta área de estudios.

There is extensive literature in the field of migration studies examining the process of social recording in the first decade of XXI century in Europe and the United States. There are no studies in Argentina that analyze such processes and present a state of the art of them. The main objective of this article is to build a state of the art that accounts for the relationships established, during the first two decades of the 21st century, between the field of migratory studies and the field of studies on the social memory of Argentina. The results of the article allow us to describe the evolution of the relationships established between both academic fields, identify the topics analyzed by the reference bibliography and, finally, show what the achievements have been and the limitations that persist within this area of study.
