    Religion is an indispensable element for the understanding of the Old Egypt's society, determining their way of being, and feeling. It is religion that constitutes the base of its conceptions of State and power, of its practical attitudes, feelings, artistic and intellectual representations. In this study, the author presents a synthesis of the main elements and contents of the Old Egypt, given the image of a universe where men, gods and the Cosmos itself (sacred) develop in a harmonious way a rich and singular language.

    La Religion est un élément essentiel pour comprendre la société de l'Ancien Egypte, déterminant ses formes d' êtreet de penser, ses conceptions d'Etat etde pouvoir, ses attitudes pratiques, ses sentiments, ses représentations artistiques et intellectuelles. Dans cet article, I' auteur présente une synthêse des principaux éléments et les formes de religion égyptiennes dormant l'image d'un univers ou les hommes, les dieux et le Cosmos (sacré) sont un systême bien ordonné avec un langage riche et singulier.

    A religião é um elemento imprescindível para a compreensão da sociedade do Antigo Egipto, determinando as suas formas de ser, estar e sentir. É a religião que está na base das suas concepções de Estado e poder, das suas atitudes práticas, sentimentos, representações artísticas e intelectuais. Neste estudo, a autora apresenta uma síntese dos principais elementos e conteúdos religiosos do Antigo Egipto, transmitindo a imagem de um universo onde os homens, os deuses e o próprio Cosmos (sagrado) desenvolvem de forma harmoniosa uma linguagem rica e singular.
