Samples collected from the Garmab area in the West Koppet Dagh region, N. E. Iran, are paleontologically treated in this paper. The samples investigated, have been soft materials and studied by aid of washed residues. Many of the figured specimens are excellent index fossils for study of the Paleocene. More than 50 species of foraminifera and two new species, are recorded from the Paleocene and nearly all are illustrated.
