    This article aims at hermeneutic comparison between two works that are fundamental in establishing what one might call «the myth of Portugal»: a kingdom unique and everlasting founded on divine right in an antiquity that went back to the biblical patriarchs; whose destiny is protected and providencially guides from the heavens, in order to fulfill a mission of worlwide importance.

    Cette étude a comme objectif la confrontation herméneutique entre deux oeuvres importantes pour la compréhention de ce que nous appelons «le mythe du Portugal»: un royaume singulier et perpétuel fondé en droit divin dans une antiquité qui remonte aux patriarches bibliques, dont I 'histoire est protégée et conduite providenciellement par le ciel, en ordre avec l' accomplicement d'une mission avec une amplitude universelle.
