Some ostracoda from Middle Eocene (Bartonian) beds of Northern and Eastern Spain

• Resumen

  • A small collection of middle Eocene Ostracoda submitted by Dr. G. Colom from localities in Navarra and Cataluna Provinces northeastern Spain and Alicante Province east central Spain is briefly described and illustrated. Six of the 17 recorded species have previously been recorded from Middle Eocene deposits elsewhere. The Navarra and Cataluna assemblages suggest outer shelf environments whereas those from Alicante indicate inner shelf conditions
