    In the workshop of the novelist De Roberto. Study and edition of Il viaggio a San Vito · Il viaggio a San Vito is a novella by Federico De Roberto which was published for the first time in 1890, first in a magazine and then in the collection Processi verbali. In this contribution, the genesis and the editorial events of this novella are retraced, by illustrating the corrective interventions present on the manuscript and retracing the variantistic movements that affect the passage to the prints. Finally, the critical edition of the novella is offered.

    Il viaggio a San Vito è una novella di Federico De Roberto che viene pubblicata per la prima volta nel 1890, prima su rivista e poi nella raccolta Processi verbali. Nel contributo si ripercorrono la genesi e le vicende editoriali della novella, illustrando gli interventi correttori presenti sul manoscritto e ripercorrendo i movimenti variantistici che interessano il passaggio alle stampe. Si offre infine l’edizione critica della novella.
