Resumen de Manifestaciones oculares en infección por SARS-CoV2: serie de casos y revisión bibliográfica

  Objetivo: Presentación de 3 casos clínicos con afectación oftalmológica relacionada con el virus SARS-CoV2 y constatar mediante revisión bibliográfica las manifestaciones oftalmológicas de la infección por el virus reportadas por la comunidad científica durante esta pandemia.

  Material y método: Revisión bibliográfica en la base de datos Medline de documentación científica de los últimos 2 años. Reporte de tres casos clínicos.

  Discusión: A partir de 1.228 resultados para la primera búsqueda, 469 para la segunda y 341 para la tercera, se han seleccionado 30 artículos. Relación entre los hallazgos encontrados en la bibliografía y las características clínicas de los casos expuestos.

  Conclusión: importancia de valorar esta posibilidad diagnóstica en la patología de cualquiera de los segmentos oculares con criterios analíticos y de temporalidad.

  Objective: Presentation of 3 clinical cases with ophthalmological involvement related to the SARS-CoV2 virus and verify through bibliographic review the ophthalmological manifestations of infection by the SARS-CoV-2 virus reported by the scientific community during this pandemic.

  Materials and methods: Bibliographic review in the Medline database of scientific documentation of the last 2 years. Three case reports.

  Discussion: From 1228 results for the first search, 469 for the second and 341 for the third, 30 articles have been selected. Relationship between the findings in comprehensive review and clinical characteristics of the exposed cases.

  Conclusion: Importance of assessing this diagnostic possibility in the pathology of any of the ocular segments with analytical and temporal criteria.
