El presente artículo sintetiza los antecedentes del proceso de formación de la cultura económica, en los estudiantes de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Construcción. En este sentido, se realiza la fundamentación teórica del tema y se propone un ejemplo desde la asignatura Materiales de la Construcción para la formación de la cultura económica en los estudiantes de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Construcción y a partir de la misma se proponen acciones metodológicas en función de la labor educativa a desarrollar por el colectivo de profesores desde la dimensión curricular del proceso docente educativo.

In the present work it deals with the subject referring to the economic culture, the one that has great importance in the national and international context, in which the professional of the Education of the Construction career develops as part of its general and integral culture within the framework of the Battle of Ideas of the Cuban Revolution. In this sense, the theoretical foundation is carried out and an example is proposed from the subject Materials of Construction for the formation of economic culture in the students of the Degree in Construction Education and from it proposed methodological actions based on the educational work to be developed by the group of teachers from the curricular dimension of the educational teaching process.
