Repasando la trayectoria histórica de este Colegio podemos afirmar que se trata de una de las instituciones educativas extremeñas más veterana y más dinámicas, pues lleva 125 años manteniendo un compromiso inquebrantable a favor de la educación, no sólo para la población local sino para toda la región. Es un centro educativo centenario y, al igual que la región Extremeña, ha ido adaptando su modelo educativo a las necesidades de la sociedad. Esta continuidad en el tiempo pone de manifiesto su capacidad de conciliación con el presente, que no es fruto de la casualidad, sino que forma parte del carisma fundacional que impulsó a las primeras maestras rurales religiosas a establecerse en nuestra región a finales del s. XIX.

Reviewing the historical career of this School, we can affirm that it is one of the oldest and most dynamic educational institutions in Extremadura, since it has been maintaining an unwavering commitment to education for 125 years, not only for the local population but for the entire region. It is a centennial educational centre and, like the Extremadura region, it has been adapting its educational model to the needs of society. This continuity in time reveals its ability to reconcile with the present, which is not the result of chance but is part of the founding charism that prompted the first religious rural teachers to settle in our region at the end of the XIXth century.
