    En este trabajo sistematizamos reflexiones en torno al dolor que realiza Spinoza en su Ética con un doble fin: la exégesis de sus textos y la puesta en diálogo con otras indagaciones contemporáneas sobre la conceptualización y tratamiento del dolor. En este sentido, creemos que desde el modelo spinoziano podemos producir explicaciones del fenómeno del dolor que atiendan a sus dimensiones complejas y extraer asimismo sugerencias terapéuticas. Organizamos el trabajo en tres grandes secciones. En la primera reconstruimos el concepto spinoziano de «afecto». En la segunda indagamos en su concepto de dolor y su relación con categorías contemporáneas. En la tercera sugerimos líneas terapéuticas a partir de la Ética.

    In this work we systematize reflections about pain that Spinoza makes in his Ethics with a double purpose: the exegesis of his texts and the dialogue with other contemporary inquiries about the conceptualization and treatment of pain. In this sense, we maintain that from the Spinozian scheme we can produce explanations of the phenomenon of pain that attend to its complex nature and, in addition, obtain therapeutic suggestions. We organize the work into three large sections. In the first we reconstruct the Spinozian concept of «affect». In the second, we investigate his concept of pain and his relationship with contemporary categories. In the third we suggest therapeutic lines from Ethics.
